Romanticism means so many things to so many different people. One interesting aspect of Romantic studies is the continued discussion and debate over what the term "Romanticism" means.  The area of study is always in a continued state of flux, defining and redefining itself as new approaches to old material (and to newly discovered material) take students, teachers, and scholars into increasingly diverse and challenging areas of inquiry. With its hypertextual format, the Web is an excellent medium in which to support this ongoing discussion and discovery process, and its fluidity nicely represents the dynamic nature of this scholarly activity, even as it provides a mechanism by which multiple views and information can be shared. Below, I have listed a number of excellent resources for Romanticism studies.  At this point, these resources privilege literary studies, but the information contained therein does have relevance for art, music, and history study as well.
